House Bill 3594
HB3594 is a foundational piece of legislation that codifies protections for Oklahomans to self-custody their Bitcoin, run their own nodes, own and operate mining businesses, and more. The bill provides for core definitions that will empower Oklahoma to pursue forward-thinking action in the industry, and establishes the bedrock for the Oklahoma Bitcoin Association’s future advocacy efforts. The bill establishes Oklahoma as a leader in this rapidly growing industry.
House Bill 1600
Bitcoin miners are the most flexible users of electricity in the world. HB1600 provides incentives for miners to participate in Demand Response programs where miners turn off their operations during times of congestion on the grid, creating a more cost-effective, robust, and optimized grid for all Oklahomans. Additionally, the bill would make Oklahoma one of the most competitive jurisdictions in the country for mining businesses.
