Bitcoin miners are the most flexible users of electricity in the world. HB1600 provides incentives for miners to participate in Demand Response programs where miners turn off their operations during times of congestion on the grid, creating a more cost-effective, robust, and optimized grid for all Oklahomans. Additionally, the bill would make Oklahoma one of the most competitive jurisdictions in the country for mining businesses.
